What A Wonderful World This Could Be

Is anyone else disgusted by the fact that a man was killed in a stampede at a Long Island Wal-Mart yesterday?

Here's the story.

It amazes me that human beings, supposedly civilized ones, are capable of this sort of cold and heartless activity. It makes me sick to think that these people were so selfish and greedy that they were willing to break down the door of a store, and trample an employee, just to buy a bunch of crap for a holiday that truly has no spiritual and religious connotations intact. At least in a general sense.

How appropriate to call the first ay of the Christmas season black Friday.

That is...ridiculous? Horrific? Pathetic? I don't even know what to say. Seriously. It makes me so mad that creatures like this still exist. Black Friday can be a fun time if you treat it as such. It's fun to get out and start shopping for the holidays in good spirits. I'm seriously appalled that people would act like this to save a few bucks. And I feel horrible for that poor employee's family. Seriously, it's heartbreaking.

...But I guess I've been appalled at people's behavior a lot in the past month or so. Seems we haven't come all that far sometimes.

It makes me sick. People' s greed, lack of feeling and complete and total disregard for their fellow human beings makes me ill. CC

I was nearly trampled myself as I was reaching for the item I had been waiting for. 3 people behind me leaned over me to get to it first, pinning me to the product in front of and beneath me. It was an experience. I said if you let me up you can get to it much eaasier. Stupid crazy people. The funny thing is that aftr the fuss died down, there were stil probably 50 of the item sitting on the pallet.
